The Huntington North bowling teams remained undefeated Saturday afternoon at Haworth Lanes in Berne.
The 2nd ranked Lady Vikings improved to 8-0 by defeating the host South Adams Lady Starfires 17-3. The Lady Vikes won 909-649 the first game, winning 9 of 10 points. Eleni Newsome had 247 and Ayla Yeiter had 203 to lead the Lady Vikes. Liz Conley added 157, Megan Manes 154 and Alyssa Prickett 148 to round out the first game scores. Conley was the only Lady Vikes to lose their match.
In game two the Lady Vikes won 835-685 with Yeiter rolling 201. Conley had 179, Manes 176, Newsome 158 and Maddie Johnson 124, with only Newsome and Johnson losing their matches. Paige Seyler had 169 and Ashlynn Jennings 159 for South Adams.
The top ranked Vikings improved to 8-0 by overwhelming the Jay County Patriots 18-2. The Vikes broke the 1100 barrier the first game, rolling 1104 against the Patriots 878. Zac Tackett had 248, Tyler Krepp 235, Tyler Carroll 221, Adam Shoemaker 212 and Connor Brown 188. Only Brown lost his match.
The Vikes beat Jay County the second 1003-853 with Shoemaker rolling 242, Krepp 227, Tackett 208, Brown 192 and A J Bickel 134. Bickel lost his match. Lee Mock had 230 and Richie Carducci 202 for Jay County.
The girls jv team lost to Norwell. They tied Norwell in points 10-10 but lost the match based on total pins. Lauren Smart had 191-145, Haley Shopoff had 161-146, Ashley Clark 154-167 and Kaitlyn Conley 171-112.
Wednesday is the Hoosier Conference JV Singles Tournament at Villa Lanes in Decatur, beginning at 4:30pm.
