The Huntington University cheerleading squad will be hosting a cheer clinic on Saturday, February 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Girls between the ages of 5 and 14 are invited to participate at a cost of $25 per person. Later that afternoon during halftime of the Huntington University men’s basketball game, the clinic attendees will perform the cheer they learned that morning. The men’s basketball game begins at 3:00 p.m. at the Merillat Complex. Attendees should wear their clinic t-shirt to the game in order to get in free.
The clinic will be held at the Merillat Complex (MPERC) on Huntington University’s campus. Registration forms for the clinic will be available in the main office or athletic office of each Huntington County elementary and junior high school, as well as in Huntington University’s athletic office. For more information about the clinic visit http://www.huntington.edu/athletics/cheerleading/1011/camp-letter.pdf. Pre-registration for the clinic is preferable, but participants may also register at the door the day of the clinic.
