CMS Run in 2 Meets

Crestview Cross County competed in 2 events recently. The first was a 3 -way meet at Hartford City with Bluffton and Blackford. Both teams, boys and girls brought home victories. Marissa Jamison and Dillon Valenti were individual winners and then followed by many of their friends and fellow runners. Following Jamison across the line and the place they finished were Becca Berry (2), Katie Jamison (3), Emma Melcher (4), Chloe Scheiber (6), Brittany Smith (7), Paige Berry (8), Jenna Henline (9), and Meagan Thomas (10).
Other boys finishing in the top 10 were Hunter Hollowell (2), Zach Baldridge (6), Jacob Vinson (7), Evan Kropf (8), and Dawson Hertel (10).
On Saturday the team then traveled to Indianapolis and ran in the state meet where they competed in the big school division. Top finishers were Marissa Jamison in 85th place, Chloe Scheiber (146), Emma Melcher (167), Katie Jamison (175), and Becca Berry (192).
The top boys finisher for CMS was Hunter Hollowell in 73rd place, Dillon Valenti (124), Jacob Vinson (205, Dawson Hertel (216), and Colton Sheets (234).
