Crestview Middle School traveled to Riverview on Monday evening to run against the Raiders. The style was very different from normal, but both teams went home with a victory because the 6th and 7th grade was won by CMS and the 8th grade was won by RMS. They combined the boys and the girls into one race and one team score, which doesn't normally happen. Crestview was led in the 6th and 7th grade race by Hunter Hollowell who was the overall winner in a time of 11:09. Dillon Valenti finished 2nd then Dawson Hertel was the next Cougar to cross the line in 5th place. Teammate Evan Kropf was 6th and the First Lady cougar was next as Chloe Scheiber finished in a time of 13:14 to round out the team scoring. The final team score was CMS 25, RMS 31.
In the 8th Grade race CMS was led by Zach Baldridge who finished 2nd overall with a time of 11:50. Jacob Vinson was 4th, and then Marissa Jamison was 5th. Colten Sheets was 9th and Alex Hosler 10th to finish out the scoring for the Cougars. Final Score CMS 30 RMS 25.
