Great football season comes to a close

The Huntington North Vikings Football Team played their hearts out and left everything they had on the field.  The defense played extremely well and kept them in the game to the very end.  But a victory was just not to be had by the Vikings.  Fort Wayne North chose this game to play the best football that they had played all year, and it was just enough to keep the Vikings from victory... Riverview 8th grade defeats Crestview

In 8th grade football action the Riverview Raiders took on the Crestview Cougars in the second game of the evening. The air was electric and both teams came out playing hard with the defensives playing tough and not allowing either offense to get anything going in the first quarter.

Flag football leads the way at the PAL

The football continued at the PAL last Saturday with both flag and tackle teams taking the fields on a brisk morning.

In flag action in the 10 and over league it was the Buccaneers 26-Titans 6; Redskins 29-Jaguars 0.

The 8 and 9-year olds' results were:
Bears 29 - Giants 6
49ers 24 - Panthers 0
Seahawks 24 - Eagles 6

In the 5, 6 & 7 year olds league the results were:
Lions 24 - Packers 22
Patriots 14 - Packers 14
Falcons 18 - Bills 14

Without a doubt the Vikings football team looks ready for their sectional contest with a big win over Muncie Central Friday night. They completely dominated their opponent in every phase of the game.

Vikes tame the Bearcats

Huntington JV/Freshmen defeat Marion

In Monday night football action the JV and Freshmen teams joined forces to take on the Marion Giants. Marion didn’t have enough players to field both a Freshmen and a JV team so they combined their teams.
