2011 PAL Flag Football Results

The 2011 Flag Football Season came to a close this past Saturday by crowning 4 champions.

In the 5&6 Year Old League the Champions were the Vikings coached by Heath Camomile and Andy Zay. Team members are: Evan Camomile, Isaac Zay, Ethan Stephan, Logan Sibert, Jax Mickley, Jacob Ellsworth, Braeden Christiansen, Owen Woolard, and Luke Teusch. The Vikings bested the Ravens 12 to 6 to win the championship.

In the 7&8 Year Old League the Champions were the Chiefs coached by Wade Crawford, Ben Barcz, Darren Johnson, John Barcz.

Back Row: Coach Crawford, Coach Ben Barscz, Coach Darren Johnson, Coach John Barscz. The Chiefs defeated the Raiders 12 to 6 to claim the championship.

In the 9&10 Year Old League the Champions were the Chargers coached by Brandon Glasgow and Michael Chipchosky.

Team members are: Beldon Glasgow, Hayden Chipchosky, Colin Suchcicki, Conner Miller, Hunter Sullivan, Logan Christian, Michael Parks Jr., Corbin Snow.

The Chargers beat the Titans 6 to 0 for the title.

In the 11&12 Year Old League the Champions were the Cowboys coached by Erik Madsen.

Team Members are: Christopher Barrett, Martin Harold, Justin Albertson, Andrew Albertson, Nickolas Gunsolus, Jacob Madsen, and Trevor Wiley.

The Cowboys knocked out the Bengals 25 to 12 to win their tournament.

The PAL Grounds hosted 38 games in 6 days this past week to crown their tournament champions. 1 game went to overtime and 2 games were decided on the last play of the game, and at least 10 other games were decided by 1 touchdown or less. The tournament was a very successful conclusion to a great season of over 380 games played at the PAL Grounds this fall.
