Cougar Football Loses Pair to Marion

Crestview Middle School football teams both traveled to Marion on Tuesday evening and suffered losses to the Marion Jr. High teams. The 7th grade team lost 8-20. The lone score came on a Matao Taviro kickoff return for a touchdown, and a Matt Guhl extra point run. The defense was led by Guhl and Patrick Miller with 4 1/2 tackles and Taviro with 2 1/2.
The 8th grade team lost 0-14, no statistics were available. On 10/4 the 8th grade team travels to Wawasee, while the 7th grade team will host Wawasee for their next game.
