D rules Marion vs Viking Combined game

The Marion Giants “C” team football travelled to Huntington on Monday September 26th to take on the Vikings combined the JV and Freshmen teams.
The Giants scored on the first offensive possession and then the defenses took over. As the first have was winding down the Viking offense was driving and came up just short on a fourth and goal from the one leaving the Vikings trailing 6-0 at the half.
The Vikings Lehman returned the second half kick out to the 46 yard line. The Viking offense would mount a drive from there only to stall at the Giant 14 and turn the ball over on downs. Both defenses would hold strong the rest of the game leading to the final score Marion 6 Huntington 0.
