Rebel Football Victorious Over Crestview

Salamonie hosted Crestview for Saturday's football game and came away with the win, 14-6. The play of the game was the punt return by Austin Eltzroth for a 60 yard touchdown. Other highlights of the game were Isaac Smith's 73 yards rushing and TJ Kratz's 1 yard touchdown. Spencer Sharpe had a 2 point catch and Larry Fultz had 2 pass interceptions. Their record is now 2-1 and will play again October 5 hosting South Adams.
Editors Addition:
Alex McCutcheon scored on a 3 yd td run for the Cougars that was set up by a 45 yard pass from Bryson Gradeless to Mason Mounsey to get the game to a one score affair. Both defenses played well the entire game and the game came down to the final seconds as the Cougar were trying to drive for the tie but the Rebels intercepted a pass to seal the victory,
