After posting a 307 in the first round of the Indiana Wesleyan Fall Invitational at Meshingomesia Country Club on Monday, the HU golf team shot a 303 on Tuesday to finish fourth out of 11 teams.
Jordan Dawes fired a one-over-par 145 (73, 72) to pace the Foresters and finish third overall. Josh Teulker was seven strokes behind with a 152 (77, 75). Matt Wilson finished with a 155 (80, 75) and Devin Dale (79, 81) and Mickey Belt (78, 82) each shot a 160. Matt Johnson competed as an individual and posted a 180 (92, 88).
Bethel claimed the top spot in the tournament with a 594 points followed by Holy Cross (605), Indiana Wesleyan (609), HU (610), Grace (624), Cornerstone (632), Mount Vernon Nazarene (635), Taylor (636) and Cincinnati Christian (692).
The Foresters return to action on Friday when they compete in the Malone University Classic at Tannenhauf Golf Club in Alliance, Ohio.
