Gymnastics teams loses a close one

The Huntington North gymnastics team lost a close match with Carroll on Wednesday at Huntington North High School.
The team totals were Carroll: 105.35, Huntington North 98.25.
The Vikings won the vault competition with Jessica Baker coming in second with a 9.25 score and Stephanie Freeman and Olivia Eckert finishing third and fifth. Caitlin Radko from Carroll won the event with a 9.3 score.
Baker also had second-place finishes in the Uneven Bars and the Balance Beam and placed second in the all-around.
The 1-1 group next travels to Concordia on Saturday, January 23 for the Concordia Carter Classic. The match starts at 11:30 a.m.
