Huntington North hosted Heritage High School for a gymnastics meet on Tuesday in the HN fieldhouse.
The local squad added another win to their record (3-1) by defeating Heritage 103.65-90.85. The point total was a school record for the team.
Coach Ness said after the match that "the girls are starting to get comfortable with their routines and each one has been improving their scores."
Jessica Baker won the all-around competition with a 36.8 score. Stephanie Freeman (HN) was second at 34.1 and Olivia Eckert was third with 32.5 points.
The Vikings won all four individual events (vault, uneven bars, beam, floor exercise) during the competition with Baker taking the top spot and Freeman coming in second.
The team members are Olivia Eckert (Junior), Macy Good (Junior), Jessica Baker (Sophomore), Cieria Boyd (Sophomore), Chelsi Snyder (Sophomore), Stephanie Freeman (Freshman), Robyn Karst (freshman), and Marisa Kitt (Freshman).
The girls will take on Homestead on Thursday in the Huntington North fieldhouse starting at 6:30 p.m.
