Fans watched an exciting girls' soccer match on Monday night as the Lady Cougars took on Riverview on their home turf. Starting keeper Caitlin Crawford had three saves and Brittany Sands four. The Lady Cougars soccer team defeated West Noble on Tuesday evening. Hollyn Anderson had two goals, Aubrie Eckert one, and Brianna Bates scored a goal and had an assist. Keeper Brittany Sands had five saves in the win.

The Crestview Lady Cougars got 2nd in the Leo Invitational Soccer Tournament Saturday by beating Blackhawk the first match 6-3 and losing in the championship match to Leo 4-0. The Crestview Girls Soccer team lost to Norwell on Wednesday evening by the score of 6-2. Scoring goals were Aubrie Eckert and Emily Johnson. Jo Neal made 9 saves in goal while Caitlyn Crawford had 3.

The Crossroads League has announced its 2012 postseason awards for women’s soccer and among the list of honorees includes Huntington University senior Lisa Underwood and sophomore Courtney Baker.
