Huntington County’s middle school boys’ soccer team had a very successfully day on Saturday defeating two teams to win the Leo Soccer Invitational. In a game that every Forester saw action, HU wrapped up their season with a 4-3 men's soccer victory over Moody Bible Institute.
In a well-executed play eight minutes into the game George Halim found the back of the net off a corner kick from Taylor Zeman. The girls soccer team defeated Norwell 2-1 on Tuesday in their first sectional game. Reagan Valenzuela and Shelby Bradford had one goal each, and Kaylie Dunn had 8 saves. The Lady Vikes will play Jay County Thursday at 7 p.m. at Ballard Field in Marion.
