The single elimination tournament wrapped up the season for Roanoke Youth Sports’ 8-10 Soccer program. The championship game featured a tightly contested match between Sparks Trucking and Shear Techniques. The game was well played with Sparks Trucking eventually winning. The spirited match drew rousing cheers from both teams’ parents and supporters as the players and coaches displayed great enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the game.
The other 8-10 year old teams in the tournament included Dennis Grain, Bussick Orthodontics, Coldwell banker Huntington, HuntingtonFreePress.com, Andy Zoda Realtor Coldwell Banker, and Steel Dynamics.
Roanoke Youth Sports is a not-for-profit organization committed to providing area youth with opportunities to participate in baseball, tee-ball, softball, and soccer.
