Special Olympics basketball Inv. results

Huntington Community Schools Special Olympics hosted a basketball Invitational on January 30. It was held at Riverview Middle School and Horace Mann elementary school. Over 200 athletes attended this event. There were 22 basketball teams and 40 skill athletes. Opening ceremonies began at 9:00 a.m. with the basketball games and the skills competition directly following.
In attendance this year were Huntington County, Allen County, ARC of Allen County, Cass County, Elkhart County, Angola Rise, Grant County, St. Joe County, Wabash County, Kosciusko County, and Jay County. The games were played at two schools which are located beside each other. There were two gyms involved at Riverview and one gym at Horace Mann School.
