Special Olympics B-ball registration

Huntington County Special Olympics Basketball registration and first practice will be held at HNHS Fieldhouse on Thursday, Oct. 22 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. This year's program will include teams for skill, Senior 3-on-3, Junior 3-on-3, and Junior 5-on-5. The skills athletes will compete in free throw, bounce, and dribbling competitions. While the 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 teams will compete with teams from northwest Indiana.

Athletes must be a least 8 years old and identified by an agency or professionals having one of the following intellectual disabilities: cognitive delays as measured by formal assessment or significant learning or vocational problems due to cognitive delay that require or have required specially designed instruction.
