Voldrich retained as SID for the MCC

By J.D. Collins on Wednesday, November 30th, 2011 | Bookmark and Share

In conjunction with the hiring of Nathan Miller as Assistant Commissioner for the Mid-Central College Conference (MCC), Joe Voldrich will be retained as Sports Information Director (SID). Voldrich will continue in the position that he began this past August, and will be tasked with the ongoing improvement of media services and increased media exposure for the MCC.

While managing and updating the conference website, www.mid-centralconf.org, Voldrich will still complete the day-to-day SID duties. Voldrich will also see his responsibilities expanded as part of the MCC’s commitment to advancement. The coordination of all ten conference institutions’ sports information departments and further efforts to improve member services by the sports information department will be important priorities.

“I am very pleased to have Joe Voldrich remain as the MCC SID.  Joe has proven his capabilities in this position and will be a valuable asset to the MCC.  Initially the SID role was going to be included in the Assistant Commissioner position, but this is a win-win situation for the Mid-Central College Conference.  Nathan Miller, the new MCC Assistant Commissioner, will focus on marketing, sponsorships and the implementation of the strategic plan and Joe Voldrich will continue the improvement of the Sports Information Department”, Commissioner J.D. Collins stated.

As the MCC moves forward with its marketing and sponsorship initiates the sports information objectives will also receive increased attention. The MCC is committed to comprehensive advancement, and remains dedicated to being one of the premier athletic conferences in the NAIA.
