Blue Racers finish a Great Season

The Blue Racers finished their swimming season last night at Salamonie taking on Summit Middle School.  Both teams were defeated.  The girls lost by a score of 79-107.  The boys score was 80-105.

Top finishers for the girls were: Samantha McCann- 200 free and 100 breast; Cassy Lange- 50 free and 100 back; Lauren Sands- 100 fly; 200 Medley relay of Cassy Lange, Katie Schenkel, Lauren Sands, and Addison Clark; Addison Clark- 100 IM and 100 back; Alayna Kiefer- 100 fly; Katie Schenkel- 400 free and 100 breast; 200 free relay team of Lauren Sands, Alayna Kiefer, Fiona Sackett, and Caitlyn Sands; 300 free relay team of Caitlyn Sands, Cassy Lange, Katie Schenkel, and Addison Clark; Katie Littleford- diving... The Huntington Blue Racers lost Wednesday night to Maple Creek Middle School at Carroll High School.  The lone first place finisher was Cassy Lange in the 50 fly; she also placed second in the 100 IM.  Other second place finishers were: Walter Hacker in the 100 IM and 50 Fly, Cameron Ness- 50 free and 100 Breast, Katie Schenkel- 400 free and 100 Breast, Brian Mitchell- 100 Backstroke, Medley Relay teams of Addison Clark, Katie Schenkel, Cassy Lange, Caitlyn Sands, Aaron Gilmore, Cameron Ness, Walter Hacker, and Kellen Hughes; 300 Free relay teams of Addison Clark, Cassy Lange, Katie Schenkel, Caitlyn Sands, Drew Whitcomb, Brian Mitchell, Walter Hacker, and Cameron Ness... Vikes compete in State Finals

Vikings have good day at Sectionals

The Huntington North Vikings' swimmers that qualified on Thursday at the Sectional Prelims traveled to Warsaw High School on Saturday to compete in the Sectional finals. Lady Vikes place fifth in Warsaw

The Huntington North Girls' Swim team finished up the Sectional on Saturday in Warsaw. The host team took the Sectional crown with 284 points. The Lady Vikes tied with Columbia City for fifth place with 151 points behind Culver (223), Logansport (192), and Plymouth (166).
