Blue Racers End Their Season

The Blue Racers finished their season at the Oak Hill Invitational on Saturday. Placing 3rd out of 5 teams.

Each swimmer who swam on Saturday did a fantastic job, achieving many personal bests and giving an overall ranking of 3rd place!

Blue Racers Travel to Summit

In the Blue Racers second meet, they lost a tough meet to Summit Middle School of Fort Wayne.In this meet, the girls lost 197-89 which brings their record to 0-1-1. Huntington Middle School Swimming Opens

The Huntington County Middle School Swimming team started their season on Monday evening at Bluffton. The girls team tied 85-85, while the boys team was defeated 56-82. Individual results were as follows:

Blue Racers 4th in Oak Hill Invitational

The Huntington Blue Racers competed in in the Oak Hill invitational on Saturday placing 4th behind the host school, Kokomo, and Norwell. They defeated Blackford and Marion by scoring 215 pts on the day. Scoring for the team were:

Kaitlin Biehl, Cody Barton, Zane Cozad, and Emma Gordon placing 5th in the Medley Relay
Carlee Kiefer, Biehl, Alexandra Short, and Barton 6th in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay

The Huntington Blue Racers boys swimming team defeated Adams Central on Tuesday evening by the score of 93-65. The girls were defeated by the score of 62-113. The boys upped its record to 2-3 while the girls are at 0-4-1.

The Boys Middle School Swimming team got this season first victory on Tuesday evening by defeating Hartford City 91-59, while the Girls team finished in a tie at 82-82. The teams records to date are the Boys 1-2 and the Girls 0-2-1.

Viking Girls Swim Team takes on Bluffton

The Viking Girls swim team opened up their 2011-2012 season last night with a win over the visiting Bluffton Tigers. The final score read 95-68 (should have read 105). The girls took first place in 8 of 11 events.

Cassy Lange in the 200 IM and 100 Backstroke

Cassie Hacker in the 100 Breaststroke
