Viking Girls Swim Team takes on Bluffton

The Viking Girls swim team opened up their 2011-2012 season last night with a win over the visiting Bluffton Tigers.  The final score read 95-68 (should have read 105).  The girls took first place in 8 of 11 events. 

Individual first place finishers were:

Sara Karst in the 200 and 500 Freestyle

Cassy Lange in the 200 IM and 100 Backstroke

Cassie Hacker in the 100 Breaststroke

Karst, Hacker, Lange, and Katie Schenkel finished first in the 200 Medley Relay

Schenkel, Addison Clark, Autumn Schulte, and Emily Koons finished first in the 200 Free relay
