Blue Racers Results

The Huntington Blue Racers lost Wednesday night to Maple Creek Middle School at Carroll High School. The lone first place finisher was Cassy Lange in the 50 fly; she also placed second in the 100 IM. Other second place finishers were: Walter Hacker in the 100 IM and 50 Fly, Cameron Ness- 50 free and 100 Breast, Katie Schenkel- 400 free and 100 Breast, Brian Mitchell- 100 Backstroke, Medley Relay teams of Addison Clark, Katie Schenkel, Cassy Lange, Caitlyn Sands, Aaron Gilmore, Cameron Ness, Walter Hacker, and Kellen Hughes; 300 Free relay teams of Addison Clark, Cassy Lange, Katie Schenkel, Caitlyn Sands, Drew Whitcomb, Brian Mitchell, Walter Hacker, and Cameron Ness.
On Thursday, the Blue Racers traveled to Berne, IN to swim against the South Adams Middle School. The girls were defeated 116-70. First place finisher was Katie Schenkel in the 400 Freestyle. Second place finishers were: 200 Medley Relay team of Addison Clark, Katie Schenkel, Cassy Lange, and Caitlyn Sands; Cassy Lange in the 100 IM and 50 Fly; Diving- Marissa Koons; 100 Back- Addison Clark; 100 Breast- Katie Schenkel; 300 Free Relay of Addison Clark, Cassy Lange, Katie Schenkel, and Caitlyn Sands.
The boys were also defeated by a score of 110-70. First place finishers were: Walter Hacker in the 100 IM and 50 Fly, Drew Whitcomb in the 400 Free, and Cameron Ness in the 100 Breast. Second place finishers were: 200 Medley Relay of Aaron Gilmore, Cameron Ness, Walter Hacker, and Kellen Hughes; 200 Free- Drew Whitcomb; Aaron Gilmore in the 50 Free and 100 Back; 400 Free- Zane Cozad; 200 Free Relay of Aaron Gilmore, Austin Lange, Kellen Hughes, and Drew Whitcomb; 300 Free Relay team of Jordan Hersey, Brian Mitchell, Walter Hacker, and Cameron Ness.
