Viking Tennis falls short at Sectional

On Friday, the Huntington North tennis team faced Norwell in the second round of the Sectionals. Vikings sweep Snider in varsity tennis

The tennis squad from Huntington north had no trouble with the Fort Wayne Snider group on Tuesday afternoon in cold temperatures.

The Varsity won every match and pushed their season record to 9-9.

Vikings bested by Kokomo in tennis

The tennis squad from Huntington North ran into a buzzsaw this afternoon when the Kokomo Wildcats came to town.

The Wildcats showed why they are leading the North Central Conference when they defeated the Vikings 4-1.

HN Tennis wins match in Fort Wayne

The boys tennis team from Huntington North added one to the victory column today (Wednesday, September 23) by besting Fort Wayne Northrop at Fort Wayne.

A very close match all the way, with #1 singles David Ballard winning the only singles match in straight sets (6-2, 6-2).

The doubles pairs made the difference with #1 doubles team of Christian Webb and Ian Kardatzke and #2 doubles, Neal Hamilton and Adam Klaffke, winning their matches to win the day for the Vikings... Read More...

Foresters take it to the Cougars

Defending their home court, the Foresters took it to the Cougars of Saint Francis recording the 8-1 win.
 
For the second time this season, Haley Neiderhiser and Raelyn Althoff blanked their opponents 8-0 at #1 doubles.  In other doubles action Joni Holsem and Kelsey Mark (#2 doubles) came up short losing 8-2 but Erica Abel and Kristen Lahman (#3 doubles) posted the 8-4 win... Read More...

Boys Varsity Tennis (7-8) beat Anderson on Saturday 4-1.

Marion defeats HN in tennis

The Huntington North boys tennis squad traveled to Marion on Wednesday, September 17 and lost a close match 3-2.

Christian Webb and Ian Kardatzke as Number 1 doubles and Neal Hamilto and Adam Klafke as Number 2 doubles were the only varsity winners.

HN Tennis wins big at South Adams

The boys' tennis team from Huntington North traveled to South Adams and came away with a Varsity win (4-1) on Tuesday. Their record for the year is 5-7.

All three singles matches were won in straight sets by HNHS players, David Ballard, Chris Royer and Luke Hoffman.
