Foresters turn in seven top finishes

The HU track and field teams brought home seven top finishes from the Trine University Invitational over the weekend. The men finished second while the women took fourth.

HU opens indoor season

The Huntington men's and women's track and field teams opened their indoor season on Saturday with the Purdue Invitational at Lambert Fieldhouse. Competing against NCAA Division I Purdue, St. Ambrose and Cornerstone, the Foresters landed several top five finishes on the day.

Former Vike Kicks off Track Season

The Western Kentucky University track and field team kicked off the 2011-12 indoor season Saturday at the Murphy Center, competing against Lipscomb, Tennessee State, and host Middle Tennessee in the Christmas Invitational.  Former Viking Travis Gerding assisted the Hilltoppers.

CMS Boys In Conference Track Meet

Both CMS boys track teams finished their seasons at the conference meet on Saturday in Plymouth.  Colt Ropp once again led the way.  Breaking a conference record in the 8th grade boys shot put, throwing the 8KG shot put 45-4 1/2 to claim 1st place, and getting 3rd place in discus.  Parker Brundige also claimed a conference title in the 110M hurdles, and finished 7th in the 100M...
