The HU track and field teams brought home seven top finishes from the Trine University Invitational over the weekend. The men finished second while the women took fourth.

The Huntington men's and women's track and field teams opened their indoor season on Saturday with the Purdue Invitational at Lambert Fieldhouse. Competing against NCAA Division I Purdue, St. Ambrose and Cornerstone, the Foresters landed several top five finishes on the day.

The Western Kentucky University track and field team kicked off the 2011-12 indoor season Saturday at the Murphy Center, competing against Lipscomb, Tennessee State, and host Middle Tennessee in the Christmas Invitational. Former Viking Travis Gerding assisted the Hilltoppers.

Both CMS boys track teams finished their seasons at the conference meet on Saturday in Plymouth. Colt Ropp once again led the way. Behind Colt Ropp's County record setting evening in the Shot Put, and Adam Woods school record setting night in the 200M hurdles Crestview boys 8th grade track team rolled to a county title on Monday evening.
