Both CMS boys track teams finished their seasons at the conference meet on Saturday in Plymouth. Colt Ropp once again led the way. Breaking a conference record in the 8th grade boys shot put, throwing the 8KG shot put 45-4 1/2 to claim 1st place, and getting 3rd place in discus. Parker Brundige also claimed a conference title in the 110M hurdles, and finished 7th in the 100M. Houston Lehman also had a great day, finishing 2nd in High Jump, 4th in 110M Hurdles, and 6th in Long Jump. Christian Jones placed 5th in the 800M, and Jordan Seabolt claimed 5th in the Shot Put, Alex Hughes got 6th in Discus, Adam Woods was 7th in the 200M, and Alec Justice was 8th in the 400M. Relay teams placed 3rd in the 4 X 100 and 6th in the 4 X 400. The 4 X 100 team consisted of Brundige, Lehman, Woods and Layne Neal. The 4 X 400 of Justice, Jones, Brundige, and Tyler Hamilton. The 8th grade team place 4th overall, 2 pts out of 3rd place.
The 7th grade boys team placed 7th overall. Lance Clancy won 4th place in the 1100M Hurdles, Luke Stroud finished 4th in the 1600M and 7th in the 800M, Hunter Hollowell finished 6th in the 1600M, and Matt Guhl placed 8th in the 400M. The 4 X 100 team got 5th on that relay were Mason Mounsey, Lance Clancey, Grant Baumgartner, and Tavin Nunemaker. The 4 X 400 team placed 7th, and it was made up of Stroud, Mounsey, Guhl and Nunemaker.
