Riverview County Track Results

 RIVERVIEW COUNTY TRACK RESULTS – MONDAY, MAY 9

7TH Grade Girls: RV 61 CV 43 SAL 32 - County Champs!Josie Adamson won the shot put with a throw of 34’9”. Serena Rosen took 1st place in the discus with a throw of 68’11. Sarah Fryman placed 2nd and Alyse Omillian came in 4th. Jordyn Poulson was a double winner: 100 m dash with a time of 14.4 and the long jump with a distance of 12’11”. Also placing in the long jump were Hannah Stoffel (2nd) and Fryman (4th). Stoffel was a triple winner. She won the 400 m dash with a time of 1:08.6, followed by Abbey Ness in 2nd. Stoffel won the high jump with a height of 4’6, again followed by Ness in 2nd. A school record was beaten by Stoffel in the 1600 m run with a time of 5:55. Also placing for the Raiders were: in the 800 m run – Aliyah Jackson (2nd) and Alexandra Short (3rd), Ness placed 4th in 100 hurdles, 2nd place in 4x100 relay (Josie Graft, Brook Hiple, Fryman, and Poulson), and 2nd place in 4x400 relay (Ness, Emily Karst, Jackson, and Poulson). 

8TH Grade Girls: CV 102 RV 25 SAL 3Taryn Doering won the 800 m run with a time of 2:48.6. Doering also placed 2nd in the 400 m dash. Natasha Grover took 1st place in the discus with a throw of 86’9”. She also placed 4th in the 100 m dash, and 2nd in shot put. The Riverview 4x100 relay team placed 1st with a time of 1:02. That team consisted of Lauren Stephan, Kelsy Mygrant, Grover, and Bailey Kohr. Also placing for the Raiders were: Kohr in the 200 m hurdles (4th) and in the 200 m dash (4th),and Hannah Hubley placed 4th in the long jump. 

7TH Grade Boys: RV 75 CV 36 SAL 26 – County Champs & Undefeated Season!Keenan McKinzie won the 800 m run with a time of 2:25. Nolan Betterly was close behind in 3rd. McKinzie also won the 1600 m run in 5:34. Following him again was Betterly placing 2nd. Aaron Ebert won the 110 hurdles with a time of 18.62, with McKinzie placing 3rd. Ebert also placed 2nd in the 200 hurdles with Grant Arbuckle close behind placing 3rd. Aremis Ebert won the long jump with a jump of 16’1”. Jon Berlier took 3rd place and Lucas Long came in 4th. Aremis also placed 2nd in 3 additional events: 100 m dash, 200 m dash, and 400 m dash. Matt Johns won the shot put with a throw of 38’8”. Gabe Jacobs stole 2nd place and Chandler Updike grabbed 3rd. Johns and Jacobs also placed in the discus, placing 2nd and 3rd, respectively. The Riverview 4x100 relay team won first place. The team consisted of Berlier, Arbuckle, Johns, and Aaron Ebert. The 4x400 relay also took first place. This team consisted of Berlier, Aaron Ebert, Long, and McKinzie. Arbuckle also placed 3rd in the high jump. 

8TH Grade Boys: CV 73 RV 55 SAL 9 Drew Fawcett placed 1st in 3 events: 100 m dash (12.4), 200 m dash (25.7), and long jump (17’.25”). Alex Beal won the 400 m dash with a time of 56.5. He also placed 3rd in the 100 m dash. Dustin Campbell won the 800 m run in 2:20, followed by Austin Lange in 4th. Campbell also finished 1st in the 1600 m run with a time of 5:09.7. Lange finished 3rd in this event.  Campbell also took 3rd place in the high jump. Also placing for Riverview were: Rhett Long 3rd in 110 hurdles, Lucas Johnson (3rd) and Long (4th) in 200 hurdles, Damean Karst (3rd) and Bailey Huey (4th) in the shot put, Shawn Renz (4th) and Jared Bartrom (5th) in the discus, and the 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams both placed 2nd. Way to go Raiders on an excellent season!

The NELMSC tourney is at Plymouth Middle School on Saturday, May 14.
