Five Foresters earn Postseason Honors

Five Foresters were among the list of All-Conference volleyball honorees released by the Crossroads League over the weekend.

Foresters wrap up season with loss

The Forester volleyball team wrapped up its season with a 3-1 loss, 25-10, 25-20, 24-26, 26-24, to Spring Arbor University Wednesday evening. With this loss, HU finishes the year with an overall record of 4-23 and a 2-16 record in conference play.

Trojans down HU 3-0

Taylor University’s dominance at the net got the best of the Forester volleyball team Wednesday night as the Trojans won in straight sets, 25-15, 25-18, 25-15, on senior night at the Merillat Complex.

Lady Vikings Volleyball rolls to Title

The Lady Vikings finished off their title quest on Saturday by sweeping South Side  25-17, 25-10, 25-17. The Vikings had earlier in the day taken out Jay County 25-17, 25-13, 23-25, 25-13. The Vikings had reached the weekend by defeating rival Homestead 20-25, 26-24, 22-25, 25-16, 17-15.

No. 9 Wildcats make quick work of HU

It was a quick night of volleyball as the #9-ranked Wildcats of Indiana Wesleyan overpowered the Foresters at the net to blank HU 3-0, 25-9, 25-13, 25-14, in Crossroads action Wednesday night.

CMS Concludes Volleyball Season

Crestview Girls Volleyball capped off a very successful season on Saturday morning in Warsaw for the NELMSC conference tournament.  The 7th Grade team lost the championship game to an undefeated Lincoln team from Plymouth 19-25 and 22-25.  Karmen Koch had 12 service pts and 9 Spikes, Katie Jamison 9 service pts and 9 spikes and Rileigh Johnson 7 service pts and Kaylee Platt 5 spikes... Volleyball suffers 2 losses over weekend

It was a disappointing weekend of volleyball for the Foresters who dropped a pair of Crossroads decisions to drop to 2-11 in conference play, 4-18 overall.

Cougars complete sweep over HU

In a Crossroads brawl for a spot in postseason play, the University of Saint Francis got the best of the HU volleyball team Wednesday night to complete the two –game sweep over the Foresters, 25-16, 25-15, 18-25, 25-23. Huntington lost to the Cougars in four back on September 5.

Vikings defeat Manchester 3-0

Vikings Volleyball travelled to Manchester last Thursday and defeated the Squires in straight sets (25-21) (25-7)  (25-13) raising their overall record to 18-12. The Vikings were led by Josie Beavers 13 kills and Allyson Trout’s 14 assists.

The Huntington volleyball team was clicking on all cylinders in game one against the Lancers Wednesday night as they posted a 25-21 win before Grace College stormed back to take the next three, 25-18, 25-14, 25-19, for the come-from-behind win and their eighth conference victory.

Viking Volleyball defeats Tipton

Viking Volleyball won the Peru Tournament over weekend winning all three of their matches. The Vikings put on a strong show and didn’t drop a set as they raised their season record to 16-11.
