Spring Arbor edges Foresters 3-2

In a battle that took five sets to determine the outcome, it was the Forester volleyball team that came up short against the Cougars of Spring Arbor University, 25-18, 24-26, 25-9, 25-23, 15-4, Wednesday night.

Crestview V-ball Splits a Win and a Loss

Crestview’s volleyball teams split a win and a loss last night against Bluffton –Harrison Middle School. The 7th grade team defeated Bluffton 25-11, 25-9. This brings their record to 6-2. Top servers were Allyson Mettler (12), Kaitlyn Burkhart (8), and Reagan Wohlford (5).

The Vikings volleyball team defeated Kokomo 3-0 on Thursday September 22nd 2011 25-9, 25-12, 25-13.

It took four sets but the Knights of Marian University outlasted the HU volleyball team 25-17, 21-25, 25-17, 25-15 on Friday night. With this loss, the Foresters fall to 3-10, 0-7 in MCC play.

Hosting their conference opener Tuesday night, the HU volleyball team (3-4, 0-1) fell victim to the Grace College Lancers in straight sets, 25-14, 25-17, 25-11.

Within the opening week of the 2011 season, the Forester volleyball team matched their win totals from last year by grabbing two victories at the Cardinal Stritch Wolves' Weekend Invitational to move to 3-3 on the season.
