Cougar Volleyball Defeats So. Wells

Crestview Volleyball traveled to Southern Wells and defeated the Raiders in Middle School Volleyball action on Tuesday evening. 3 sets were needed, but the 8th grade Lady Cougars prevailed by the scores of 23-25, 25-14, and 15-4. Leading the way were Alexa Hill with 11 pts, 4 kills, and 6 aces. Maddie Canady pitched in 6 kills, 2 aces, 3 points and 8 assists; Emma Eckert 9 pts, 1 assist and 1 ace; Hannah Williams with 3 kills, 1 ace and 5 pts; Haley Houser 4 pts; Ellie Lawson 5 pts, 1 ace and 1 kill, Deandra Wygant 1 kill and Tommie Mandel 1 kill. Team record is 5-6.
The 7th grade team upped their record to 8-3 by the scores of 25-15 and 25-10. Allyson Mettler had 13 pts, Shaylie Byrd 6 pts and Reagan Wohlford and Dharma Jolas with 4 pts each.
Both teams are in action on the 13th at Riverview at 5:00 pm.
