Taking on Grace College in MCC play was no easy task for the Forester volleyball team as they fell prey to the Lancers in straight sets Tuesday night, 25-9, 25-19, 25-13.
HU never got into any sort of attacking rhythm as they struggled to match Grace’s offensive efficiency. The Lancers’ serving also proved to be a thorn in the Foresters’ side as they tallied nine aces to HU’s three.
Heather Medich paced Huntington at the net with four kills. Brittany Rooze and Rebekah Brown added three kills apiece. Jensen Carnahan dished out 12 assists.
The Foresters (4-14, 0-10) are back in action on Friday when they host the University of Northwestern Ohio at 6:00 p.m.
